Graduating from Emily Carr University of Art + Design with a major in illustration, Coral is always focussing on combining her illustration practice with her ceramic work. Concentrating on utilitarian ceramics and the philosophy and aesthetic of Wabi-Sabi, Coral strives to mix a Pacific Northwest Coast feel to her work. With an emphasis on materiality and staying true to the natural beauty in her materials. For Coral, shaping objects through her hands creates an appreciation for the beauty in imperfection and the natural process of clay.
